The heartbeat of D1:8 is to serve the young and underprivileged. We aspire to do this by helping them find their identities in Christ and their beautiful potential for personal growth. One way in which we facilitate their growth is through education, which also builds up their communities.
Our goal is to open up a reading clinic/library, which will be accessible to all in the community, Christian and Muslim alike. Our hope is that this space is a safe, positive, encouraging, and resourceful environment and tool within the Nsuta community and surrounding villages. Access to reading materials, educational tools, and supervised internet is a rare and special opportunity for these communities.
With the generosity of some helpers, we've raised enough to start the project! We still need to raise around $2,400 USD for the roofing. Will you help support us in finishing his much needed project?
